    We work for nobody!!!!

The above definition is the answer you'll get if you google search the definition of an entrepreneur. As much as this explanation cannot be faulted, it doesn't explain the nitty-gritty of what entrepreneurship entails. Fortunatelythat's what this article is going to explain to you.
    Lets begin:

  1. 1. AN ENTREPRENEUR IS A CREATOR
  2.     The most essential function of an entrepreneur is to search out opportunities where they do not exist or to look for loopholes in existing opportunities and start up his/her own with the aim of filling those loopholes to provide better service so he/she will be seen as not just another alternative but as a better alternative. An entrepreneur may not necessarily be the creator of an idea, but an entrepreneur brings that idea to fruition.
  3. 2. AN ENTREPRENEUR IS THE MAJOR MOTIVATOR
  4. An entrepreneur is the driving force behind an idea. An entrepreneur is the leader, the 'alpha male/female', the beginning and/or end of a venture, the one that pushes forward and inspires others to follow.

  5. 3. AN ENTREPRENEUR IS THE MOST ACCOUNTABLE PARTY

The fate of any business venture lies a great deal in the hands of the entrepreneur. The entrepreneur has the highest stake in the venture and bears maximum risk. He is the one ultimately responsible for the flight or failure of the business.
Now that we have a clear description of who an entrepreneur is or should be, lets get into the details of what entrepreneurship entails.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP IS MORE THAN JUST FINANCIAL GAINS

Most of the time , people have this wrong belief that once you just startup a business, it's all the way up, you'll become a millionaire in another year or two and live in your dream house with that trophy wife, beautiful kids and a dog. It doesn't exactly work that way. The truth is, as your own boss, you are exposed to the financial upsides AND DOWNTURNS more than any other person.

You'll find out that your first, second maybe third and fourth attempts may end in disaster. The thing here is not to let the frustrations of past failures get you. In reality, there are no actual failures, just lessons learned. Take these experiences, and use them as a foundation to start again, better than you started before. There is no such thing as an entrepreneur without drive, passion and determination. Set a goal for yourself and work towards achieving that goal. Gratification may not be immediate, learn to be patient
